Sanchez Adobe (9 images)
About a mile off of Highway 1 in Pacifica, California, is the Sanchez Adobe Historical Site. Operated by San Mateo County, the site includes an adobe structure that was built between 1842-46. One hundred and one years later, in 1947, it was purchased by the county "to be preserved as a public museum."
